In November 2023, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Carbon Footprint Labeling and Certification Public Service Platform was officially launched in Shenzhen. For the first time in the country, the platform realizes the integration and one-stop management services of enterprise carbon footprint application, accounting, third-party verification, reporting, certification, certificate and identification issuance, and process supervision, and has built-in evaluation technical standards for 45 types of products such as new energy products such as batteries and food and other consumer products. The certification implementation rules and accounting model can expand and connect more application scenarios, build a background data framework structure in accordance with international standard ILCD formats and rules, and have the ability to continuously accumulate and integrate data, helping enterprises to carry out carbon footprint accounting and certification with low threshold and low cost.

The certificate is valid for 2 years, and if the certified enterprise needs to continue to use the certification certificate, it shall re-apply for certification 30 days before the expiration of the certification certificate.
