In order to implement the linkage mechanism of intellectual property execution, strengthen the management of the publication market, increase the intensity of the fight against infringement and piracy, and enhance the awareness of the whole society to respect and protect intellectual property rights, on the occasion of the "4.26" World Intellectual Property Day, the intellectual property prosecution and case handling team of the Tuoketuo County People's Procuratorate and the County Cultural Market Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau carried out intellectual property publicity on Daxin Printing Factory, Xinhua Bookstore, Xuezi Bookstore, Chenguang Bookstore, etc. in the county, and at the same time, the County Cultural Market Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau carried out special inspection actions on the publication market.
During the inspection, the staff of the law enforcement bureau learned about the qualifications of the business unit and the registration of the trademark of the business book by checking the purchase list, checking the outer packaging of the books, and asking the person in charge at the scene. At the same time, it is necessary to strictly investigate infringing and pirated publications, and comprehensively check whether there are regular purchase channels for teaching aids, student tool books, bestsellers, and so on sold by business units, and whether they are genuine books.
During the inspection, the inspectors conducted on-site publicity and education for the operators, requiring all business units to strictly implement the main responsibility, operate legally, consciously improve the ideological understanding of resisting the dissemination of illegal publications and harmful information, and promptly expose and report the malicious dissemination of illegal audio and video and illegal books and materials. At the same time, it will publicize relevant intellectual property laws and regulations, and require all publishing and business establishments to resolutely resist pirated books and respect and protect intellectual property rights.
In the next step, the Tuoketuo County People's Procuratorate will further give full play to its intellectual property prosecution function, increase copyright protection, strengthen the governance of the cultural environment, and provide a strong procuratorial force for building a livable, harmonious, healthy and progressive social environment.
