There is a saying that if you don't agree, you will quit, and how many people resign because of impulsiveness, which has caused the subsequent career development to be bad.

So what kind of resignation decision will not make you regret it in the future, or give up your good job opportunity in vain?

In the cases I have handled, there are too many friends who are struggling with whether to leave because they can't continue their current jobs.

When you have the idea of quitting your job, it's easy to see that your current job isn't going anywhere. Every day is tormenting, but for various reasons, I can't let myself see the status quo clearly. As a result, internal friction was wasted and their precious time was wasted.

In addition to subjective reasons such as moving and changing cities, the more common reasons for resignation are:

I am not growing at the moment and I can't get the room for improvement I want;

The feeling of giving and getting is not proportional, and the salary increase is not enough for many years;

The boss always paints cakes, and the promotion that should be given is not given;

The company has bad interpersonal relationships and is ostracized;

……

Some of these reasons are caused by the environment, some are completely subjective speculation, and some can be adapted through self-adjustment.

Different reasons require different countermeasures, and it is easy to quit your job, but what to do after quitting is more important.

I see too many clients who make the decision to quit their jobs blindly or impulsively, and then regret their mistakes in the future.

So, what can we do to avoid this blindness after we have the idea of quitting our current job?

01

Analyze the specific reasons why you want to quit your job

Many people want to resign because they feel uncomfortable and have internal friction, and the relationship with the leader accounts for a large part of it. Don't pay attention to it, don't give it a chance...... But I don't know the real reason behind it.

For example, a previous customer, who had been in the company for two years and recently had a new leader, felt that he was not valued as before, and the work distribution was unreasonable, and he was very aggrieved.

However, after further analysis and combing, we found that the reason why the leader arranged this way was actually because he himself was in the process of adapting to the management of the new department, and the unreasonable distribution of work was not only for him, but also for other colleagues.

In the case of determining that the company is still satisfied with other aspects, strengthen communication with the leader, support the leader's decision, and better show his advantages to the leader, and the problem will be solved.

There is also a customer who feels that the leader has always been very targeted at him, and on the one hand, he has to rely on himself to work, but also pressure himself, and from time to time he makes insulting remarks, which is simply fed up.

After analysis, it was found that the leader's work ability was relatively poor, and he was afraid that his subordinates would surpass him everywhere, so he could only use inferior methods to "convince you", and at the same time, it was also because of his own submissiveness, which fueled the arrogance of the other party.

However, the company is one of the better local companies, if you leave blindly, it not only means that years of accumulation are ruined, but also means that you may not be able to find a better development space in the local area.

Later, we helped the client adjust the strategy of getting along with the direct supervisor, and at the same time actively showed his ability in more opportunities, and finally got a better space for development.

However, in addition to that, it is also an important reason why many people want to leave.

Ma Yun, the founder of Alibaba, once said a very classic sentence: there are many reasons for employees to leave, and only two points are the most true: 1. The money is not in place, and 2. The heart is wronged.

Salary is the best expression of a person's value, so it is also an important reason for whether we stick to a job or not.

But many people want a salary increase because I have been in this company for several years, and my salary has not changed, and I have not been promoted.

People around me are paid more than me......

You see, what they see is the result, but the reason may be that you have never asked your boss for a raise, and you fantasize that your boss can see everything I do.

In fact, in addition to the company's particularly perfect salary increase and promotion mechanism, otherwise, many opportunities have to be fought for by themselves. Have you done it all?

02

Resigned, what are you going to do

Many of the clients I met mentioned naked speech.

Thinking about taking a break, let's see what we're doing later. As a result, resignation is cool, and the back is bitter.

When you've had enough, you go to find a job and find that it's far from as good as you think.

In recent years, due to the impact of the epidemic and the global economy, enterprises have become more and more demanding in recruitment. Even if you have the ability, once you have a resume, the opportunity to queue up for the scene will be relatively rare.

Because they are too optimistic about their job search, many people waste the golden period of job hunting, thinking that they can find a satisfactory job in one or two months.

As a result, half a year has passed, and I am still looking for a job, seeing that my savings are insufficient, I can only be aggrieved and ask for the second, first find a company and go to work, and then I am not satisfied, resulting in a vicious circle.

In too many cases, there are many examples of bad and bad changes.

So, you want to evaluate your value in the market before quitting.

These include:

More than one client has seen the value of his current company as a result of our careful evaluation of his market opportunities.

While continuing to take seriously the projects you are responsible for in the company, you are also on the lookout for better opportunities to change jobs externally. So as to allow themselves to get better development by changing jobs.

These are some examples of how you will stay in your industry and profession. In reality, there are many people who are dissatisfied with the status quo and want to change careers or transform, so they can't resign easily.

It is necessary to re-position yourself in your career, understand the entry threshold of the target industry and occupation, do a good job of skills and industry knowledge reserves, and at least have the ability to change tracks, and then consider resigning.

If you have the mentality that I quit first and then want to see it again, then the time for you to go back to work is incalculable, and you must set aside sufficient reserves for yourself to live on.

03

Whether or not quitting your job will solve your underlying problem

This is also a question that we should consider carefully after we have the idea of resigning. There are some situations that cannot be solved by resignation.

For example, if you change jobs before and always leave because you don't get along well with the people around you, then you should reflect on whether you have some problems caused by your own patterns.

Get to the source of the problem and learn how to communicate with people instead of running away.

I feel incompetent and incompetent for this job, but in fact, I have just entered the workplace, and I have to have a process of starting from scratch wherever I go.

Then it's good to build up your abilities, and frequent resignation will not solve your problems.

If you have a misunderstanding with your boss or colleague, you feel uncomfortable. Then we must take the initiative to resolve the misunderstanding, instead of fleeing without knowing it.

There are many similar ones, and everyone should distinguish them according to their own situation.

It's easy to quit your job, but don't let the impulse of the moment irreparably affect your career.
