7CRSIMNMOV (code CH-1) steel is an air-quenched micro-deformation low-alloy steel and flame-quenched steel, which can be locally quenched by flame to harden the cutting edge part of the die. The quenching temperature (800~1000 °C), good hardenability and hardenability (up to 60 Hrc or more), high strength and toughness, and repair welding after chipping. It can replace CRWMN and CR12MOV steel to make punching dies with complex shapes. The recommended heat treatment process for CH-1 steel: quenching temperature 900~920 °C, oil cooling, tempering at 190~200 °C for 1~3 hours, hardness 58~62 Hrc.

6CRNISIMNMOV (code Gd) steel is a high-toughness and low-alloy steel with good hardenability, small air quenching deformation and high wear resistance. Its strength and toughness are significantly higher than those of Crwmn and CR12MOV steels, and it is not easy to chipping or breaking. It is especially suitable for slender, thin sheet punches and large, complex shapes, thin-walled convex and concave dies.

The recommended heat treatment process of GD steel: quenching temperature 870~930 °C (900 °C is optimal), salt bath heating (45s/mm), oil cooling or air cooling, air cooling, 175~230 °C tempering for 2 hours, hardness 58~62 Hrc. It can be hardened by air cooling, and can also be quenched by flame heating.

9CR6W3MO2V2 (code Gm) steel is a high wear-resistant, high-strength and toughness alloy steel, with good process performance, its wear resistance, toughness and processing performance are better than CR12 steel, and can be used for precision dies such as multi-station progressive dies under high-speed press stamping, which is an ideal steel for wear-resistant and precision stamping dies.

Gm 钢的热处理工艺:淬火temperature 1080~1120 °C,Hardness 64~66HRC。 Ignition temperature 540~560 °C, secondary ignition.

CR8MOWV3SI (code ER5) steel is a high-wear-resistant, high-strength and toughness alloy steel, with good EDM performance, strength, toughness, and wear resistance are better than CR12 steel, and is suitable for large-scale precision stamping dies. It is used for silicon steel sheet blanking die, with a grinding life of 210,000 times and a total life of up to 3.6 million times, which is the highest life level of silicon steel sheet punching in alloy steel stamping die.

Cx die steel impact toughness

The impact toughness of Cx die steel is mainly affected by the following factors:

Chemical composition: The chemical composition of Cx die steel contains an appropriate amount of carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium and other elements, and the content and ratio of these elements have an important impact on the impact toughness of steel. The right amount of carbon can improve the hardness and strength of steel, but too high a carbon content can lead to increased brittleness and reduced impact toughness. The right amount of silicon, manganese, chromium and other elements can improve the strength and toughness of the steel, and increase the impact toughness of the steel.

Heat treatment process: heat treatment is one of the important means to improve the impact toughness of steel. With a proper heating and cooling process, the microstructure of the steel can be changed, thereby increasing its impact toughness. Commonly used heat treatment processes include quenching, tempering, etc. Quenching can give the steel a higher hardness and strength, but it will reduce the impact toughness, so it needs to be tempered to restore some impact toughness.
