On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Navy, Zhang Wenchun, a master's student majoring in Marxist theory at the School of Marxism of Southeast University, and his classmates went to Qingdao, Shandong Province on the afternoon of 20 April to participate in the grand opening of ships on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Navy.
Zhang Wenchun, as a student of Professor Lu Hua, focuses on the research of national defense education and national security theory. He also has another identity - a retired college student soldier who served in a unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. This background makes him full of different expectations for the opening of naval ships.
On the day of the event, Zhang Wenchun and his classmates visited a number of ships with great interest and had an in-depth understanding of the development process and modern equipment of the navy. They carefully observed the internal structure of the ship and experienced first-hand the daily life and rigorous training of the officers and men of the navy. This visit not only gave them a deeper understanding of the Navy, but also made them admire the tenacity and dedication of the officers and men of the Navy even more.
Zhang Wenchun said: "As a retired soldier and a graduate student studying national defense education and national security theory, I feel very honored to participate in such an event. He believes that this activity is not only a grand commemoration of the 75 th anniversary of the founding of the Navy, but also an important practice of national defense education for the whole people. Through this event, he gained a deeper understanding of the importance of national security and strengthened his determination to continue his studies and research in this field.
The opening of the ship showed the powerful strength of the navy to the public, and at the same time stimulated the patriotic feelings and national defense awareness of the general public. Zhang Wenchun and his classmates, as young students in the new era, were deeply inspired, and they expressed that they would devote themselves more firmly to the cause of national defense and contribute to the security and prosperity of the country.
