The Roewe D5X DMH is equipped with a "P1+P3" dual-motor hybrid system, mated to a 1-speed DHT hybrid gearbox. This system was already installed on the Roewe D7 DMH, but the engine was changed to a 1.5-liter engine with 150 horsepower, and the motor power was increased to 153 kW.
According to the previously announced information, the maximum cruising range of this car will exceed 1,300 kilometers under CLTC conditions, and the fuel consumption in the lowest charge state is 5.25L/100km, and the data of BYD Song Pro DM-i is 5.3L/100km.
In terms of dimensions, the wheelbase of this car is 2765mm, which is the same as the BYD Song PLUS DM-i (the wheelbase of the Song Pro DM-i is 2712mm).
In addition, the wheelbase, length, and height of the Roewe D5X DMH are actually the same as those of the fuel version of the Roewe RX5.
As for the selling price, given that the starting price of the Roewe RX5 is 102,900 yuan, in the context of "the same price of oil and electricity", the Roewe D5X DMH should not be much more expensive than this price, so compared to the Song Pro DM-i that starts at 109,800 yuan, it has a strong competitiveness.

The Discovery 06 C-DM has been confirmed to be officially launched at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25. In fact, the Explore 06 and Fengyun T6 have the same wheelbase and the same rear suspension structure, so it can be judged that they are actually the same car.

Last year, we test-drove the Dongfeng Fengshen Haohan DH-i, which was equipped with a petrol-electric hybrid system with a 4-speed DHT gearbox, and the acceleration ability after 120km/h was impressive while taking into account fuel consumption.
At that time, we already knew that there was a plug-in hybrid version of this system, and some time ago we had test-driven the plug-in hybrid version of the Haohan DH-i, but the model name was changed to Fengshen L7 and the closed front face design was changed to a closed front face design.
Compared to the Haohan DH-i, the Fengshen L7 has an additional battery with a capacity of 30.2 kWh, which is comparable to some range extenders with large batteries (26.6 kWh for the Song PLUS DM-i 150km version), and has an all-electric range of 205 km in CLTC mode. According to the official statement, the comprehensive range is more than 1500km, and the fuel consumption is only 3.8L/100km under the NEDC working condition with the lowest charge.
Although the current benchmark of plug-in hybrid SUVs is the BYD Song series, considering the 4-speed DHT hybrid system of the Fengshen L7, the direct competitor is actually the Geely Galaxy L7 equipped with a 3-speed DHT hybrid. The maximum pure electric range of that car is 115 km under CLTC mode, and the starting price of the 115 km range version is 139,700 yuan.
Like the Discovery 06 C-DM, the Fengshen L7 also has been tweaked to the interior, using a pocket gear mechanism instead, and eliminating the lighting equipment in the center console, and adopting a disconnected T-island design with more storage space.
