In order to further stimulate students' enthusiasm for reading and encourage students to read more and read good books, on April 22, on the occasion of World Book Day, Liangyuan Experimental Primary School in Shangqiu City held a "Book Flea Market" activity with the theme of "Reading Moistens Childhood, Scholars Accompany Growth" to create a bookish atmosphere of good books to read together.
In the "Book Flea Market" activity, the school's 4th and 6th grade students share idle good books with the younger students, and attach recommendation cards and homemade bookmarks to each book, so that the younger students can read accurately.
Change to a new owner and find a new home. In the "market," many students gathered in front of each "stall," and some "sellers" enthusiastically "solicited customers" and did their best to attract junior students to read books; some "sellers" earnestly explained the contents of the books to the younger students, hoping that their favorite good books would be recognized by more people. The scene was full of people, bustling, shouting and selling, and it was not lively. After getting the books that Xinyi wants, the junior students can't wait to start reading, fully enjoying the fun of "searching for books" and reading. The teachers became volunteers for the event, maintaining order and serving everyone at the same time.
Every book has its mission, every reader has his story, the "Book Flea Market" of Liangyuan Experimental Primary School leads the children to turn the pages of those books and start a wonderful journey, so that they can grow and be inspired to witness the power of books and go to the beauty of reading together.
