Just as the contour lines on the map depict valleys and hills, the design of the collection depicts gradient changes through the efficient use of materials.

"Erosion" series

Zaha Hadid Architects' new Erosion collection for Neutra was released this week in Milan and explores the dynamic interplay between materials, time, and forms. The Minera table and the Branch Console table in the collection showcase the beauty of natural stone over time.

Carved from the finest Carrara marble, the collection's fluid shapes and sinuous lines blur the lines between furniture and sculpture, suggesting an alternative concept of space.

The Minera table is a unique combination of materials and craftsmanship. In order to represent the erosion that is evident in nature, Neutra carefully carved the table into a single block of marble. The Minera table can accommodate eight people and measures 320 x 160 x 72 cm and is limited to eight pieces.

The Branch Console table strikes the perfect balance between lightness and sturdiness, appearing to be suspended in space, yet firmly rooted by the forces of nature. Two symmetrical branches, made of a single piece of marble, rise seamlessly from the base and support the 290 x 68 cm console surface, creating a central void that enhances the ethereal character of the design.

The TOPOS lounge chair and chaise longue series designed for iSiMAR

The TOPOS collection is named after the Greek word for "place", which symbolizes family and friends relaxing time by the sea, by the pool or under the pine forest.

Inspired by the geographical concept of topography, the TOPOS collection transforms contour lines on the map into an industrial design that not only depicts the landscape of the Mediterranean, but also shows its rich quality of life. Just as the contour lines on the map depict valleys and hills, the design of the collection depicts gradient changes through the efficient use of materials.
