Recently, the Postal Industry Security Center of the Hanjiang Transportation Bureau, the Public Security Brigade of the Hanjiang Public Security Bureau, and the Hanjiang Tobacco Monopoly Bureau jointly conducted a surprise inspection of the express sorting center in the jurisdiction, and seized tobacco products suspected of exceeding the national limit in 4 delivery packages on the spot. At present, the case has been transferred to the District Tobacco Monopoly Bureau for handling.
Law enforcement officers hereby remind the general public: when mailing cigarettes and cigars, each piece is limited to two, mailing tobacco leaves and tobacco is limited to five kilograms each, and the combined delivery of cigarettes and tobacco shall not exceed 10 kilograms, and users mailing tobacco and its products are limited to one piece per person at a time, and multiple pieces are not allowed to be mailed. If there is no transport permit or the quantity specified in the transport permit is consigned or transported by itself, the tobacco monopoly administrative department shall impose a fine.
In addition, according to the Notice of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration on Adjusting the Administration of Cigarettes Carried in Other Places, the maximum limit of cigarettes carried in other places is 10,000 cigarettes per person (50 cigarettes).
