On April 21, the "Shijiezi Pepper Art Exhibition" was launched at the Shijiezi Art Museum in Yebao Town, Qin'an County. The event uses paintings, literary works, Zanthoxylum pepper product display, and literary performances as carriers to show effective measures and achievements in the development of Zanthoxylum pepper industry. Northwest Normal University, Tianshui Normal University, County Bureau of Culture and Tourism, County Writers Association, Shengyuan Juxiang and other units, as well as social welfare people, all villagers, and performers attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, the curatorial team of "Shijiezi Sichuan Pepper Art Exhibition" introduced the preparatory process of this exhibition.
With the theme of "Sichuan Pepper", the art exhibition exhibited more than 600 children's paintings, 386 poems, 5 video works, and 4 public art creations. The works are collected from a number of educational institutions, schools and networks in Lanzhou, Tianshui, Gangu, Qin'an and other places. Pictures, lines of text, and videos vividly show the development status of Qin'an's pepper industry. The purpose of the activity is to continue to explore the relationship between art and the village, to link culture and art with the peppercorns owned by the villagers, and at the same time to let culture empower agricultural products, explore the relationship between culture and art and agricultural products, and further give full play to the educational function of Shijiezi Art Museum to carry out children's aesthetic education activities.
On the day of the event, a wonderful theatrical performance was also performed, bringing an audio-visual feast to the guests and local villagers.
It is understood that the Shijiezi Art Museum was established in 2008 by Mr. Jin Le, a famous sculpture artist and professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University. The art museum is a comprehensive art museum of the village with the main body of displaying, researching and collecting the life and art works of the villagers.
