The Taiwan issue has always been unresolved, and this is a difficult problem that haunts the hearts of every Chinese sons and daughters.
In settling the Taiwan issue, it does not seem to be an appropriate path to resolve the Taiwan issue, whether it is handled by peaceful means or by force.
However, in the past many years, military experts in the Taiwan region have also found some clues, that is, Chinese mainland is likely to have embarked on a third way, even if military reunification and peaceful reunification have difficulties, there are other options.
If the Taiwan issue drags on, it is by no means good news for both sides of the strait.
Logically speaking, the settlement of the Taiwan issue and how to resolve the Taiwan issue should be China's internal affair, and no foreign forces can cut in or interfere under any pretext.
Since the two sides of the strait broke their isolation, Chinese mainland has been carrying out "goodwill exchanges" with Taiwan Province in terms of economic and cultural exchanges.
However, the United States, Japan, and other countries outside the region have been making trouble for the settlement of cross-strait issues, and the United States has been secretly communicating with Tsai Ing-wen, Lai Ching-te, and others in Taiwan Province for many years. Both Taiwan Province and the United States have shown disdain for the mainland's repeated warnings.
In the face of the leaders of Taiwan Province, who have become more and more arrogant at the instigation of the United States, they have dared to take offense many times.
In this regard, Chinese mainland has not blindly forbearance and retreated. Rather, it is through various exercises and diplomatic means to provide necessary and timely military deterrence.
The main purpose of the so-called military exercises is to demonstrate China's maritime power. It is precisely because of this move that many external media are constantly making various speculations, saying that this is likely to be a prelude to Chinese mainland's war in the Taiwan Strait.
The people of Taiwan have always said that they do not want war, because war will bring great disasters.
The people in the Taiwan region can feel the calamities of the war, but why don't the mainland know about it? That's why they can blaze new trails and open up new roads. Taiwan's military experts have also conducted in-depth investigations, believing that the mainland has already embarked on the third way.
Putting aside unilinear thinking, first of all, purely military means can no longer play an excessive deterrent role, and if military means cut in, then in public opinion, it will inevitably cause a huge panic.
At present, cross-strait exchanges have entered the deep-water zone, and many people from Taiwan Province working in the mainland area hold the status of Taiwan Province on the one hand, and on the other hand, they are enjoying the dividends brought to them by the mainland, but they do not want to achieve national reunification.
Now the mainland side has seen the shortcomings in some aspects of the past, so it has changed its approach. It will integrate the military and the economy with each other, and constantly restrain Taiwan Province in time and space.
Today, with the continuous strengthening of exchanges at the economic level, more than 90 percent of Taiwan's agricultural imports and exports are traded with the mainland.
Once it leaves the mainland's huge agricultural product market, Taiwan Province is likely to face economic lockdown, because after all, Taiwan Province has long relied on the mainland's agricultural product market for survival in the past.
The military side has continuously strengthened its presence between the two sides of the strait. For a long time, many people in Taiwan Province have been bewitched and have no idea the real military strength of the mainland at all, but now through many military exercises and constant propaganda and momentum, many people in Taiwan Province are also clearly aware of the real gap between the two sides of the strait.
More and more people of insight in Taiwan Province have also clearly realized that reunification is what everyone wants, so they are no longer just blindly resistant. In terms of education, Taiwan Province has also begun to change the wrong practices of the past, and has returned to the right track of history.
It's impossible to say exactly when it will officially return, but the many changes are enough to show that fact.
That is, whether it is to recognize reality, abandon illusions, or really want to return to the embrace of the motherland, there are really more and more people in Taiwan Province who are reflecting on their future path.
The mainland is also constantly making all kinds of correct guidance, on the one hand, adopting economic softening, and on the other hand, cooperating with military means to deterrence. With a two-pronged approach, the return of Taiwan Province is a matter of time.
Only when the motherland is strong and the people are united can the Taiwan issue be resolved correctly and efficiently.
