On April 21, the Jinshanling Great Wall Half Marathon was grandly opened in the face of the spring breeze! This event, known as "one of the most difficult marathons in the world," attracted more than 1,000 runners from 16 provinces and cities in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as more than 10 countries such as the United States, Canada, Italy, and the Czech Republic.
The route design of this competition is unique, and the contestants pass through the scenic road, climb the Jinshanling Great Wall, and then cross the characteristic mountain road. The track passes through all the scenic spots along the way, organically combining the architectural features of the Great Wall, the mountains and wilderness landforms in spring and the sportsmanship of the marathon, bringing a double feast of vision and soul to the runners.
The Jinshanling Great Wall Half Marathon consists of men's half marathon, women's half marathon, men's 10km run and women's 10km run. After fierce competition, the top three in the men's half marathon were Yi Guotao 2 hours, 18 minutes and 41 seconds, Wei Ziming 2 hours, 22 minutes and 8 seconds, and Li Guomin 2 hours, 23 minutes and 14 seconds; the top three in the women's half marathon were Song Chunlai 2 hours 58 minutes and 2 seconds, Zhang Dongmei 3 hours 10 minutes 4 seconds, and Mao Haiying 3 hours 22 minutes 51 seconds; the top three in the men's 10km run were Ma Tao 1 hour 9 minutes 20 seconds, Li Bo 1 hour 14 minutes 38 seconds, and Wang Tengyun 1 hour 17 minutes 30 seconds; and the top three in the women's 10 kilometers run were Cheng Xue 1 hour 23 minutes and 10 seconds, Xia Chunhong 1 hour 25 minutes 12 seconds, and Miao Yuming 1 hour 25 minutes 27 seconds。
During the run, the runners can not only feel the passion and vitality brought by the marathon, but also enjoy the different spring scenery of the Jinshanling Great Wall. The mountains are full of flowers and greenery, and every scenery makes people linger, as if they are in a vivid landscape painting.
This marathon is not only a sporting event, but also a perfect fusion of culture and nature. Here, the spirit of sportsmanship is fully displayed, the culture of the Great Wall is widely disseminated, and the beauty of nature is also fully displayed.
