2021
In April, the construction project of the Guangzhou Stock Exchange was officially approved by the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission.
In October, the "14th Five-Year Plan for Education Development in Guangdong Province" was issued, requiring the acceleration of the construction of Guangzhou Jiaotong University and other universities with a high starting point and high standards.

2023
According to the feasibility study report, the construction period of the project is from November 2023 to December 2025, and the planned enrollment is 10,000 (8,500 undergraduates and 1,500 postgraduates) after completion.
In December, the Guangdong Provincial Government issued the development plan for the five major metropolitan areas of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, the west bank of the Pearl River Estuary, Shanchaojie and Zhanmao, which once again mentioned that the construction of Guangzhou Jiaotong University would be promoted.

Introduction: Guangzhou Navigation College was established in 1964, is a public undergraduate college managed by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, the school has two campuses, the Huangpu campus is adjacent to the world-famous Huangpu Military Academy, Pazhou campus is located in the "ancient maritime Silk Road" traceback of Guangzhou Huangpu ancient port, known as the "cradle of navigators".
