From April 20th to 21st, the 2024 Qiandao Lake Roller Skating Open and Qiandao Lake Roller Skating Marathon was held in Chun'an, attracting nearly 1,000 athletes from 9 provinces including Beijing, Henan, Jiangxi, and Jiangsu.
It is understood that the event lasted for two days, and the first day of the field competition was divided into three categories: freestyle skating, speed skating, and roller skating. The second day will be the roller skating marathon, where nearly 1,000 athletes will be divided into three groups to challenge 3 km, 8 km and 13 km respectively, and experience the unique charm of Qiandao Lake along the Chunyang Line.
"This is a local competition in Hangzhou, of course I want to keep the gold medal in Hangzhou. In addition, after the race, I want to feel the cycling greenway and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Cui Peng, a member of the Hangzhou roller skating team, said.
In recent years, Chun'an has been committed to building a sports city, and roller skating, as a fashionable, healthy and energetic sport, is also a key event in Chun'an's "3+X" event system. The holding of the Qiandao Lake Roller Skating Open will further polish the golden business card of Chun'an cultural tourism, promote the deep integration of sports and cultural tourism, and realize "travel with the event".
