Application Guide | 2024 Application Guide for the Joint Open Fund Project of the State Key Laboratory of Surveying and Mapping Science and Geospatial Information Technology of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the State Key Laboratory of Geographic Information Engineering

The State Key Laboratory of Geographic Information Engineering and the Key Laboratory of Geospatial Science and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Natural Resources jointly set up the 2024 Open Fund Project, focusing on funding the research of basic theories and technical methods in the field of surveying, mapping and geographic information, so as to solve the basic, strategic and cutting-edge scientific problems faced in this field, develop and develop new theories, new technologies and new methods in this field, and promote scientific and technological progress in the field of surveying, mapping and geographic information.

1. Principles of application

Ø The joint open fund project is open to scientific and technological workers in scientific research institutions, colleges and universities, and production units in the fields of natural resources and geographic information and related fields, and applicants generally need to have a doctorate degree or intermediate or above technical title, and the age is generally not more than 45 years old.

Ø Strongly encourage strategic, forward-looking, and original research on basic theories and technical methods.

Ø Applicants are encouraged to jointly apply for open fund projects with fixed researchers in the laboratory to carry out cooperative research.

Ø Applicants are required to fill in the "Application Form for the Joint Open Fund Project of the State Key Laboratory of Geographic Information Engineering, Key Laboratory of Surveying and Mapping Science and Geospatial Information Technology of the Ministry of Natural Resources", which requires that the research objectives and research content are clear, the technical methods are scientific and reasonable, and the results are quantitative and assessable.
