According to GSD data (reported by GamesIndustry.biz), Fallout 4 sales increased by more than 7,500% compared to last week, jumping to the top of the European charts.
The huge increase in Fallout 4 sales was largely due to the premiere of the Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video, as well as significant discounts on several Fallout games to celebrate the show's launch. The series, which aired exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, was fully released on April 12 and received widespread critical acclaim, currently having a 94% rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website and an 88% viewer rating.
Three other Fallout games also made it into the top 10 in Europe, namely Fallout 76, Fallout: New Vegas, and Fallout 3, which came in at 8th, 9th, and 10th place, respectively.
Not long ago, Amazon has announced the renewal of the live-action series "Fallout" for a second season, and the production location will be moved to California to enjoy tax benefits.
