It is understood that the design mileage of Shishiwan Village in Baihe Township is 12.83 kilometers, and about 5 kilometers have been completed so far, and the design mileage of Meitan Village in Guanbu Township is 6.63 kilometers, and more than 2 kilometers have been completed so far.
"Since the road was built last year, I have been working here, and I can get about 4,000 yuan a month. After the road was repaired, it was easy for us to travel. "I drive a transport truck here, and I can get about 8,000 a month, and my daughter-in-law also cooks here, so the income is very good. It is understood that in the past, the lanes in Shiwan Village and Meitan Village were dirt roads, and the daily travel of the villagers was very inconvenient. In order to solve the problems of the villagers and open up the "last mile" of rural travel, the Dongxiang County Transportation Bureau attaches great importance to it and actively strives for funds to transform and upgrade the entrance roads in the village. As the fourth batch of cash-for-work demonstration projects in Dongxiang County in 2023, the implementation of the project has solved the local employment of more than 60 nearby villagers, which not only effectively improves rural roads and improves the internal road connections of villages and towns, but also increases the income of the masses through the project.
