In order to further improve the self-protection awareness and emergency protection ability of teachers and students in Midian Town, recently, Midian Town Boarding Primary School carried out a comprehensive emergency drill for earthquake and fire fighting.
Before the start of the activity, the students collectively watched the "School Earthquake Emergency Drill Propaganda Film", and in the classroom, the firefighters carried out publicity and training on fire emergency knowledge.
With the rapid alarm bell ringing, the emergency evacuation drill officially began. During the drill, teachers and students protected their heads with their hands, curled up their bodies, and used schoolbags and desks to avoid danger in accordance with the requirements of emergency avoidance.
Then, under the guidance of the class teacher, according to the planned "escape" route, quickly and orderly evacuate the classroom and run to the safe assembly point designated by the school.
After assembling, each squad immediately counts the number of people and reports to the commander after summarizing.
The emergency rescue team also carried out a simulated rescue drill at the scene, and the rescue team members successfully rescued the trapped people on stretchers, and then the medical personnel simulated rescue and bandaging the injured people.
After the escape drill, all the teachers and students gathered in the playground, and the medical staff of the health center carefully explained the rescue knowledge of trauma rescue and accidental injury, and also simulated the self-rescue and mutual rescue methods after accidentally having a foreign body in the trachea, and also taught the students the correct operation process, techniques and key points that need to be paid attention to, and the relevant correct disposal steps such as the pressure position, strength, and frequency of CPR. Subsequently, the members of the emergency rescue team showed everyone the emergency materials and equipment, explained the types and applicable scenarios of fire extinguishers, and guided the students and school staff to carry out practical operations on the spot, so that everyone could master the correct use of relevant equipment.
Through the drill, the students had a more concrete understanding of fire extinguishers and ambulance knowledge, improved the self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities of teachers and students in emergencies, and laid the foundation for the construction of a safe campus.
