The poem mentions "sencha", by the way, the way people drink tea in the Tang Dynasty was the sencha method, that is, the tea leaves are ground into fine tea powder for decoction, and then drunk with tea powder.
In the Song Dynasty, the popular method was to order tea, that is, to put the finely ground tea powder into a bowl, rinse it directly with boiling water, and then drink it together with the tea powder.
Therefore, during the Tang and Song dynasties, people paid the most attention to "pre-Ming tea" rather than "Guyu tea", because "pre-Ming tea" tasted lighter, while "Guyu tea" had a stronger taste, and if you fried "Guyu tea", you would feel bitter.
Until after the Ming Dynasty, the way people drank tea was close to the way we drink tea today, only drinking tea and not eating tea, so people paid more attention to "Guyu tea" during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
