More than 40 bone flutes were found at the Jiahu site, which were made of the ulna of the red-crowned crane, most of them had 7 holes, some were 2, 5, 6, and 8 holes, and had a five-tone, six-tone or even complete seven-tone scale structure, breaking the conclusion that the pre-Qin period only had a five-tone scale, and it was the most abundant and musical performance of the five-tone to seven-tone scale musical instrument in the world's contemporaneous remains.

About 20 carved symbols have been found on tortoise shells, stones, bones, and pottery, and some experts have pointed out that the basic structure, combination, and writing characteristics of Jiahu inscription symbols are basically the same as those of Chinese characters, indicating that they may have the nature of primitive writing.

The stone-making process of the Jiahu site is also very developed, and the stone rings and turquoise ornaments are exquisitely made. A large number of turquoise stones have been unearthed at the Jiahu site, and the turquoise is mainly round and triangular perforated ornaments, which are basically used as personal ornaments to decorate the head, ears, neck, etc., and the study of its origin shows that there may have been long-distance trade at that time.
