Working as a lawyer is a job of dealing with people. The main thing is to deal with customers. How to manage the relationship with the customer is an art. Today I will dedicate myself to the topic of how lawyers deal with clients.
When a lawyer enters into a legal service contract with a person, then that specific person becomes the lawyer's client. There is a legal relationship between the lawyer and the client. So, how do lawyers deal with their clients? is something that every lawyer has to face. A lawyer can handle legal affairs for his clients smoothly when dealing with them correctly, otherwise, it will be difficult.
People's personalities vary widely. Clients are the same, lawyers need to deal with different clients, and they need to deal with relevant relationships. Every lawyer wants to get a good client. However, this kind of thinking is not forced. As a lawyer, you may not be able to get quality clients, but try to avoid accepting junk clients. If you accept a spam customer, you should deal with the relevant relationship.
Some customers, although they are not junk customers, have a problem with their ideology or have a normal mental system. What to do? We also have to face them right.
How do we as lawyers deal with all kinds of clients?
Personally, I think that the first thing is to practice in accordance with the law and standardize the enforcement, so that we will stand on the commanding heights of the law, and the customers will not be overly picky.
The second is to strictly perform the principal-agent contract, and our lawyers are not at fault.
The third should be to practice in good faith and stand on the commanding heights of morality.
Fourth, lawyers need to have the core values of socialism and reflect the personality charm of lawyers everywhere. The lawyer profession is an ordinary profession, but the personal ideological quality of the lawyer needs to be higher than that of ordinary people, so that the world can admire you in their hearts.
Fifth, lawyers need to understand the inferiority of people, especially those with garbage and character defects, and they need to understand their inferiority and take preventive measures in advance.
Sixth, lawyers should fully respect the right of clients to deal with the rights of legal entities and procedural rights. Even if the customer suffers financially, as long as the customer is genuinely willing, do not impose interference.
The seventh is to allow the client to appear in person at the court session and fully express his wishes.
Prevent clients from complaining about the lawyer's decision. When the client comes to court, on the one hand, he can feel whether the lawyer is attentive to handle the case, and at the same time, it can also supplement the lawyer's lack of knowledge of the case. The client's presence in court minimizes the risk of false litigation and perjury.
The eighth lawyer has a different division of labor with the client in handling the case, and cooperates closely.
The focus of the client's division of labor is to describe the objective facts in detail, and the focus of the legal facts lies in the lawyer's exposition; the focus of the lawyer's work is to draw out how to correctly handle the case from a legal perspective through the legal facts and related legal relationships; and how to grasp the overall situation step by step through the details.
The lawyer's focus is on the final decision on the outcome of the case, and the client's focus is on the final decision.
The ninth is to keep a certain distance between the lawyer and the client.
It's not good for a lawyer to be too close to his client;
Lawyers treat clients with courtesy and civility.
Don't be overly cold to your customers.
Even if the lawyer is very disgusted, the client's thoughts and opinions should not be overly expressed. If the customer says something you don't like to hear, you can just be a silent listener.
Tenth, lawyers should not attend clients' banquets.
Some clients like to listen to the lawyer's opinion on the case by entertaining the lawyer. Especially after drinking, the lawyer's words may get out of control, and he will get himself into unnecessary trouble. The client invited a lawyer to a banquet, but brought a group of friends, and all the expenses were counted on the lawyer's head. It is not worth it at all for a lawyer to carry such a pot. Conversations between lawyers and clients need to be cautious. Now mobile phones can also record and video.
