Colourful interiors, external staircases, three-dimensional labyrinth walls, giant eaves facades...... Huayi Wanchuang New Institute has changed from the former Great China Zhengtai Rubber Factory to a scenic spot along Humin Road. As the project removed the fence of the red line of the road, the side of Humin Road was transformed into a green corridor promenade, and the Hengjing Port pedestrian bridge was also introduced to "seamlessly connect" the industrial park and the residential area.
On November 30, 2021, Huayi Wanchuang New Law Firm was officially put into operation, with a construction area of about 86,000 square meters. At present, the commercial facilities in the park are also becoming more and more abundant, including Ledong Sports Center, Manner Coffee, Xinshang Jiayan, Binjiang Banquet, Lawson Convenience Store, Haitong Securities, Galaxy Securities, etc.
It is worth mentioning that the Ledong Sports Center, which opened on March 21, 2023, is located in Building 10 of the park, which is a model of "modern art style integrating industrial heritage", fully taking into account the industrial heritage of the park, continuing the overall simple and sparse style, retaining the characteristic style, and at the same time transforming modern functions and taking into account green environmental protection. The sports center has 19 standard badminton courts, 3 basketball courts (and 1 children's court) and other sports formats, and optimizes services in the form of new sports integration such as "factory + sports" to meet the daily fitness needs of surrounding science and technology talents, university teachers, students and residents, and help build a livable and business-friendly science and technology innovation city.
With the completion of the improvement of the open riverside landscape on the east side of the park, the park has also actively introduced rowing clubs, creative restaurants, coffee houses and other formats to continuously enrich the shore functions and attract more people to stroll, relax and consume here. Today, Huayi Wanchuang New Institute has been transformed into a characteristic science and technology innovation park with artificial intelligence, new technologies, new materials, high-end equipment and other industries as the main body, attracting a number of well-known science and technology enterprises to settle in, including Goertek Optics, Electric Group Smart Energy, Taier Smart Laser, Kaiduo Intelligence, Yimu Technology, Dayin Technology, etc. For example, Goertek Optics Shanghai R&D Center is laying out cutting-edge AR optical technology, introducing international leading optical development equipment, taking diffractive optics as the design core, creating a full-process closed-loop from diffractive optics design, master pattern production, to nano imprinting, etching, back-end packaging, and performance testing, filling the technical gap in the design of domestic diffractive optical waveguide components and the preparation of master patterns.
As one of the important parts of the construction of "Da Zero Bay", Huayi Wanchuang New Institute is adjacent to Jianchuan Road Station of Line 5, 1.5 kilometers away from the lower gate of S4 Hujin Expressway, and there are many bus lines around, with convenient transportation, and a number of universities and science and technology innovation parks on the east side, sitting on the four major resources of green, humanities, science and technology, and vitality. In fact, this is not the first "new firm" project of Shanghai Vanke. In 2016, the old office building and production plant in the center of the city were vacated and renovated by Shanghai Vanke. The originally closed and single factory area has become an open community × 7 hours a day, and has also become a benchmark project for Shanghai to create a "15-minute community life circle".

Many plants in the original factory area were clearly protected and utilized to the maximum extent at the beginning of the transformation, and the team members clarified the location coordinates of these trees through field surveying and mapping to ensure that they could be accurately avoided during construction.
Huayi Wanchuang New Institute is an urban renewal industrial park project that integrates construction and management with Shanghai Vanke, which not only participates in the early renovation construction, but also participates in the later operation and management, and regularly plans various public activities after the opening of the park, including parent-child, fitness, art and culture, etc., to add more vitality to the area.
