In 2023, 15 forestry carbon coupons will be developed in various parts of the province, and 568 million yuan of forestry carbon sequestration bank credit will be completed, 186 million yuan will be loaned, and the transaction amount will be 12.01 million yuan. Recently, the Provincial Forestry Bureau and the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment jointly issued the first batch of forestry carbon tickets in Guizhou Province after strict review, and 10 places, including Kaiyang County, Shuicheng District, Fenggang County, Qixingguan District, Jiangkou County, Duyun City, Taijiang County, Danzhai County, Jianhe County and Caiheng County, obtained the first batch of provincial forestry carbon tickets, involving more than 13,000 acres of forest land and carbon emission reduction of 123,700 tons during the monitoring period.

In order to standardize the management of forestry carbon sequestration projects in the province, the Provincial Forestry Bureau, together with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and other units, jointly promoted the construction of Guizhou Ecological Product Trading Center, the construction of ecological product registration and evaluation system, formulated provincial forestry carbon ticket development methodology and trading rules, etc., and successively issued a series of policy documents such as "Guizhou Forestry Carbon Sequestration High-quality Development Action Plan", "Guizhou Forestry Carbon Ticket Registration and Trading Management Rules", "Guizhou Forestry Carbon Ticket Project Methodology" and so on. On this basis, Guizhou Province will also formulate forestry carbon sink project development management measures, tap the potential of forestry carbon sink, promote the establishment of a forestry carbon sink project library covering the whole province, and further standardize the carbon sink trading market.
