According to sales employees, most of the layoffs were new hires who had worked for less than six months.
According to the company's regulations, they will be compensated according to the standard of "0.5N+3", and due to Tesla's higher basic salary, the compensation amount for each laid off employee is about 4 to 50,000 yuan.
Another Tesla employee who was laid off revealed that the layoffs began on the afternoon of April 16, and the employees received a notice of resignation and completed the relevant procedures.
These employees will be compensated with "N+3", which means they will be compensated accordingly. The proportion of layoffs in the employee's large department has reached 20%, and the layoffs have been completed.
