The conference will focus on the following topics:

2. Paper Selection:

Notice of the 3rd "Kanglongwei" Cup Children's Rehabilitation Physician Skills Competition

In order to further promote the development of children's rehabilitation in mainland China and improve the diagnosis and treatment level of children's rehabilitation physicians, the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Disorders Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the China Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons will host the 3rd "Kanglongwei" Cup Children's Rehabilitation Physician Skills Competition. The relevant matters of the competition are hereby notified as follows:

1. Contest time

Register on June 4, 2024, and match day on June 5-6. After the competition, the registered teams will participate in the 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and the 18th Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Disorders Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the China Association for Disabled Persons, and the 7th Academic Conference on Diagnosis and Treatment and Rehabilitation of Pediatric Cerebral Palsy of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies on June 7-8.

2. How to participate

The individual physician shall apply to the organizing committee for registration (with the name of the unit), each unit is limited to 1 person, and each province and region is limited to 5 people (units), and the number of participants is 100-120 in accordance with the order of registration, and the final participants are determined by the special committee. All contestants must be on-the-job residents or attending physicians or pediatric rehabilitation physicians who have completed residency training or are in the third year of residency training (in principle, the scope of practice is rehabilitation medicine, pediatric internal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine).

III. Participation Procedures

2. Competition method: including theory examination (closed-book written test), case analysis by drawing lots (interview) and "medical" battle to the end of the finals (real-time answering).

3. Contest content

(1) Theory test: a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, including single-choice questions and multiple-choice questions.

(2) Case analysis: including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual development disorder, global developmental delay, high-risk children with cerebral palsy, common genetic metabolic diseases, craniocerebral trauma or intracranial infection, spinal cord injury, peripheral nerve injury, a total of 9 examination diseases, each disease can set up three typical common cases (with standard answers), on-site lottery for interview.

The content of the interview includes: (1) summary of the characteristics of the medical record, (2) diagnosis and diagnosis basis, (3) key points of differential diagnosis, (4) rehabilitation treatment principles and rehabilitation prescription (including rehabilitation assessment methods, existing problems, rehabilitation goals, and rehabilitation treatment measures), ;(5) professional knowledge, ethics, humanities and professional quality questions.

(3) "Medicine" battle to the end of the finals: according to the total score of the theory test (accounting for 40% of the total score) and case analysis (accounting for 60% of the total score), the top 12 players with the total score will be selected to enter the finals of the ring. After three stages of competition, the competition was contested to win the first prize, the second prize, the third prize and the winning prize of the finals.

4. Contest Flow

(1) Written test (theory test): All registered contestants will take the written test theory test.

(2) Interview (case analysis:(1) Drawing lots, (2) Candidates reading the case studies, (3) Answering questions.

(3) "Medicine" Battle to the Finals of the Ring (Real-time Answering) :(1) Compulsory Answering Competition, (2) Rush Answering Competition, (3) "Medicine" Finals.

5. Contest Rules

The theory test is a closed-book answer sheet test, the duration is 60 minutes, the interview is divided into two groups, A and B, each group has 3 examiners, each candidate takes 30 minutes of the examiner, and the average score of each examiner is taken as the final score of the candidate's interview; according to the comprehensive ranking of the theory and interview test results, the top 12 people enter the finals of the ring, and the final competition results are selected according to the results of the ring competition.

4. Scoring criteria

Total 100 points:

1. Theory exam

The total score is 100 points (70 points for multiple choice questions, 30 points for multiple choice questions, 1 point for each question).

2. Case analysis

The total score is 100 points.

(1) Disease history special points 15 minutes

3. "Medical" battle to the end of the finals

Based on the total score of the theory test (accounting for 40% of the total score) and case analysis (accounting for 60% of the total score), the top 12 players with the total score will be selected to enter the ring finals.

(1) Compulsory answering competition: including two links: co-answering questions and optional answering questions.

A. Total answers: The screen displays 6-8 questions, each player answers the questions together, the answering time is over, and the big screen shows all the players' answers at the same time, 10 points are awarded for correct answers, and no points are awarded for wrong answers.

B. Optional answer: the screen displays the question number, each contestant can choose the question number to choose the topic and answer the question, each question is limited to 30 seconds, each contestant answers the question individually, 10 points for the correct answer, no points for the wrong answer, a total of 60-80 questions.

At the end of the compulsory competition, the top 5 scores will enter the next round of the competition, and the top 5 will be selected through the form of rush questions when the score is the same

(2) Rush competition

According to the results of the compulsory competition, the top 5 players will enter this round of the competition. After the screen hits the key words of the question, you can rush to answer, and the successful answer is free to choose to assign points to the question (10 points, 20 points, 30 points optional), and the screen shows the complete question at the end of the assignment, and the contestants will get points for answering correctly, and the points will be deducted for wrong answers, a total of 10 times after the answer, the rush to answer the link is over, and the two players with the highest score score enter the peak link of the "medical" final.

(3) "Medicine" is the pinnacle

The last two winners advance to the finals. The same is a rush contest. A total of 5 questions, the screen out the question score and keywords, the player who grabbed the question can choose to answer the question by himself or the other party, the player answers correctly to score, the wrong answer deducts points, after the end of the answer to compete for the final winner, if the same score appears, then add a question.

After the end of the "medical" final, the organizing committee of the competition will list the first prize, the second prize, the third prize and the winning prize of the competition according to the results of the finals.

The 5th Children's Rehabilitation Therapist Skills Competition

In order to promote the high-quality development of children's rehabilitation in mainland China, improve the level of rehabilitation treatment, further enhance and standardize the job ability of children's rehabilitation therapists, and build a platform for children's rehabilitation therapists to learn from each other, the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Disorders Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the China Association for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons will hold the 5th Children's Rehabilitation Therapist Skills Competition. The relevant matters of the competition are hereby notified as follows:

1. Contest time

Register on June 4, 2024, and match day on June 5-6. After the competition, the registered teams can participate in the annual academic meeting of the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, the 18th Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Disorders Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Disabled Persons, and the 7th Academic Conference on Pediatric Cerebral Palsy Diagnosis and Treatment and Rehabilitation of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine from June 6 to 8.

III. Participation Procedures

(1) Preliminary stage

Preliminary round form: 1. Preliminary selection of all contestants (3 people per team) in the form of theoretical examination, after the examination, the individual results of each team and the total results of the group will be announced on the spot, and according to the results of the preliminary round from high to low (take the top 12 individual results to enter the peak showdown individual challenge), the theoretical results of the group account for 40% of the total results of the preliminary round.

Each participating team is required to submit a pre-recorded video of a case related to children's rehabilitation treatment (including: case profile or medical history, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment and other daily rehabilitation scenarios. There are no restrictions on one-on-one, group/group lessons, etc. The video format is MP4, with a total duration of 20 minutes), and the expert jury will review and score the video works submitted by the participating teams, and the case video score accounts for 60% of the total score of the preliminary round.

The total score of the preliminary round: 40% of the theoretical score of the participating team + 60% of the scoring score of the video judges of the preliminary round. The score is from high to low (according to the number of registered teams, the top 12-16 teams will be selected) to advance to the finals.

(2) Team stage

1. According to the order of the draw, the finalist teams will make an on-site report on the preliminary cases in the form of PPT (3 people in each group are the same as the members of the preliminary round), and the reporting time is 12 minutes, and the evaluation experts will ask questions and score on the spot (the Q&A time is 8 minutes). (Slideshow size is 16:9 widescreen, video format is MP4)

2. Ranking of the total team score: 30% of the total team score in the preliminary round of the group + 70% of the total score of the group final round, and the total score is ranked from high to low.

(3) The final stage of the individual competition

The top 12 individuals from different institutions will be selected based on their individual results in the preliminary round (theory exam). That is, each team can only enter the individual finals, if a team of more than one person enters the top 12 in theory, the highest score of the team will be selected to enter the individual finals, and the ranking will be postponed until the top 12 people with the highest theoretical scores from different institutions are selected to enter the finals. Compete for the Individual Challenge Award.

The original intention of the skills competition is to improve and standardize the job ability of children's rehabilitation therapists.

Provide a platform for learning and communication, so all participating teams that have not entered the finals are allowed to observe the finals of this competition, and they must abide by the rules of the competition.

Fourth, the content of the competition

(1) Competition outline

The syllabus of the competition includes: ICF-CY concept, basic knowledge, rehabilitation treatment goals, rehabilitation treatment strategies, including children's rehabilitation assessment, children's rehabilitation treatment techniques, clinical application and related professional knowledge. All registered teams will take a theory test.

(2) Requirements for recording cases

1. Participating teams need to use real case demonstrations and recordings, mainly including: early intervention for children with various developmental delays (e.g., temporary intellectual developmental disability/global developmental delay), motor dysfunction (e.g., caused by cerebral palsy or other diseases), motor dysfunction combined with other disorders, etc.

2. In the content of video and PPT production, the name of the unit, the logo of the unit and the personal information of the contestants shall not appear or be disclosed, and attention should be paid to the safety and privacy of patients (informed consent of patients and their families is required, and the participating units shall be responsible for any problems and disputes), including: case or medical history introduction, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment and other daily rehabilitation treatment-related content. There is no restriction on individual training courses, group/group classes, etc. The video format should be MP4, the total duration should not exceed 20 minutes, and the video should have clear picture and sound.

3. When submitting the entry, the video/PPT file should be named: a case (disease name) of the child's rehabilitation treatment + participating unit.

5. Awards

1. The first prize (1 group), second prize (2-5 groups), third prize (9-10 groups) and winning prizes will be awarded according to the total results of the finalist teams.

2. In the final of the individual competition, according to the results of the on-site answers, the first prize (1), the second prize (4) and the third prize (7) will be set up.

3. The award ceremony will be held on June 8, 2023 before the closing ceremony of the conference.

VI. Conditions of Participation

The team consists of 4 people: including 1 team leader, and 3 team members are composed of PT, OT (including sensory integration, multi-sensory), and ST. All contestants must have the title of primary rehabilitation therapist (doctor) or above, and have more than 2 years of clinical work experience as on-the-job children's rehabilitation therapists. Each unit can have multiple teams register for the competition, and each group of participants shall not overlap. Each group of participants should be members of the same unit as much as possible, and in special circumstances, the children's rehabilitation therapists from the two local units can jointly form a team and report for approval in advance. Each group of registered participants must be in the same group as the preliminary round (theory test, video case) semi-final (PPT report), and no team members are allowed to be changed halfway.

Institutions that intend to participate in the competition and meet the relevant requirements can register, and the participating teams can register for the "2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Children's Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine" according to the number of participants before they can be qualified to participate in the competition.
