On April 15, Zoomlion's ZCC32000 crawler crane helped Tianwan Nuclear Power Unit 8 to successfully lift the dome crown of Tianwan Nuclear Power Unit 8, marking the safe completion of the lifting of the thin-shell steel lining dome of the heaviest nuclear power unit in China.

At 7:39 on the same day, the ZCC32000 crawler crane slowly lifted the dome ball crown weighing 208.84 tons to a height of 63 meters, and then smoothly controlled the upper mouth of the 56.869-meter steel-lined ball belt. According to the construction plan, the dome installation of Unit 8 of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant is divided into two hoistings, of which the dome belt part has been successfully hoisted in place on March 13 of the same year. The dome crown of Unit 8 was successfully hoisted into place, and the ball crown and ball belt were integrated into one, becoming an important barrier to protect the nuclear reactor.

The containment steel lining dome of the reactor building of Unit 8 of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant is a hemispherical structure with a diameter of 44 meters, which is divided into two parts, the ball belt and the ball crown, with a total weight of 601.37 tons. The steel lining dome of Tianwan unit 7 and 8 belongs to the heaviest thin-shell steel lining dome in China, and the installation accuracy needs to be controlled at the millimeter level, and the difficulty of hoisting is self-evident, which is also a double test of crane stability and operator operability.
