Ye Mei said in her speech that Anren is a thousand-year-old town, with red flowers and new ancient walls, which is the first impression of Dayi Anren. Thousands of years ago, the ancients left behind the footprints of history, and today we see walking poems and moving chapters of rural revitalization. Now that we are enjoying the fruits of reform and opening up and bathing in the light of the new era, we should actively think about how to feel the call of the times and the people at the moment of rapid social and economic development, innovate the way of prose creation, broaden the content of prose creation, take reflecting the new era and eulogizing the new era as the fundamental mission, and open up personal feelings and thoughts to the grand historical movement to obtain a comprehensive and profound overall vision.
She said that with the care and support of leaders at all levels, the Chinese Prose Literature Association has always maintained communication with prose organizations at all levels since its establishment and has achieved certain results. Ding Shiqiang introduced the development history and current situation of the Sichuan Prose Literature Association to the participants. Founded in 1990, the Sichuan Prose Literature Association has gone through 34 years, and in the past 34 years, the society has kept pace with the times, carried out more than 300 writing sharing and literary lectures, held the "Sichuan and Chongqing Essayists Forum" and "Western China Prose Forum" for many times, and carried out the "Sichuan Prose Award" selection activities, hundreds of members have won the "Lu Xun Literature Award", "Bingxin Prose Award", "Sichuan Literature Award", "Zhu Ziqing Prose Award" and other literary awards, and have made remarkable achievements in literary creation.
It is understood that since the change of office in July 2020, the Sichuan Provincial Prose Literature Association has established and improved various rules and regulations, and the work has rules to follow, and the standardized construction has reached a new level, and actively explored new models of serving members. The Prose Literature Society has truly become the home of its members, and the construction of positions has been strengthened. Sichuan Prose and Sichuan Prose micro-magazines have been successfully revised, and Sichuan Prose has been ranked among the outstanding internal journals in China, and the fourth Sichuan Prose Award has been successfully held. Encourage members to produce more excellent works, and actively and steadily promote the construction of the prose branch. More than 10 new branches, including Shehong City Branch and Pengzhou Branch, were established to strengthen membership development and training. New achievements have been made in the construction of the team of essayists. The society has been rated as an advanced collective of Sichuan Writers Association system for many years.
