On April 30, the 2024 "Let's Run, Youth" provincial demonstration activity for children and adolescents was held at the Jishishan County Stadium. Li Bin, member of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial Sports Bureau, attended and announced the opening of the event, Zhang Lequn, deputy secretary of the provincial party committee of the Communist Youth League, and Wang Xihui, vice governor, delivered a speech.
Wang Xihui said in his speech that in recent years, Linxia Prefecture has thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on sports, continuously improved sports public facilities, actively cultivated sports brand events, extensively carried out national fitness activities, attached great importance to the development of youth sports, and took multiple measures to promote the development of sports in the state. For the all-round development and healthy growth of young people, sports, education and all sectors of society in our state should attach great importance to and provide more opportunities and resources so that every youth can enjoy the benefits of physical activity and shape a stronger, more confident and more positive future for them. It is hoped that through this activity, more children can understand the charm of sports, cultivate sportsmanship, improve sports skills, fly their dreams and develop in an all-round way.
It is understood that the event to "youth heart to the party running in the new era" as the theme, Jishishan County junior high school, high school, vocational school and youth track and field enthusiasts to participate, the event is divided into youth group, high school group and junior high school group 3 groups, the scene set up 3000 meters run, three-person basketball and single rope skipping and other competitions.
