April 25, 2024 is the 38th National Childhood Immunization Day, with the theme "Acting Together to Vaccinate for the Whole Life Cycle". The Vaccination Children's Drawing Contest uses art as a medium to promote the concept of vaccination among children around vaccination and healthy life, encourage children to express their understanding of vaccination in the form of paintings, fully demonstrate creativity and imagination, create charming and infectious paintings, and stimulate the enthusiasm of the whole society for students' catch-up vaccination. In order to further publicize the important role of vaccination in controlling infectious diseases and protecting the lives and health of the people, create a good atmosphere for vaccination, and advocate that the whole society attaches importance to, cares for and supports the work of vaccination. The Pingshan Sub-district Office organized the Pingshan Sub-district Community Health Service Center and 10 primary schools, including the Pingshan Sub-district Central Primary School, to carry out the 2024 "Vaccine Superhuman Children's Painting Competition" in Pingshan Sub-district.

5. Activity content
(1) The process of the painting competition
1. Mobilization and publicity stage: From April 7th to 12th, the school and the Pingshan Community Health Service Center carried out publicity, emphasizing to students that vaccination is the right of children, the responsibility of society and the timely replacement of missed vaccinations and the second type of vaccines, so as to stimulate their participation and enthusiasm for vaccination and missed vaccination.
2. Invite professional painters and painting teachers to guide and give children some guidance during the activity to improve the quality of their works.
3. Collection of paintings: From April 18th to 21st, Pingshan Central Primary School was responsible for collecting school and social works, and preliminarily sorting and registering the works.
4. Selection of paintings: From April 22nd to 24th, a selection team composed of 1 member of the health education group of the Pingshan Street Community Health Service Center, 1 member of the Taiyuan Vaccination Clinic and 2 personnel of the Pingshan Central Primary School of Huidong County will be comprehensively considered from the aspects of creativity, expressiveness, and fit with the theme to ensure that the selection criteria are transparent and the results are fair, notarized and open.
5. Works display stage: From April 25th to May 31st, the first, second and third prizes selected will be displayed in the vaccination clinic of Pingshan Street Community Health Service Center, school publicity column, WeChat public platform, etc.
(2) The award setting of the painting competition
1. First prize: 10 people, certificate and senior painting brush.
2. Second prize: 20 people, certificates and brand sports cups will be awarded.
3. Third prize: 30 winners, certificates and exquisite painting books will be awarded.
4. Excellence Award: 100 people, certificates and exquisite notebooks will be awarded.
(3) Painting content and requirements
Drawings created by contestants should closely revolve around but are not limited to the themes of vaccination and healthy living, such as:
1. Depict the specific scene of vaccination, including vaccination clinic, vaccination room, etc.
2. A picture of a healthy and happy life after vaccination.
3. Show the role and importance of vaccines through creative images.
Paintings must be original and not plagiarized, innovation and individual expression are encouraged, and there is no restriction on the form of painting, watercolor, sketch, oil pastel, etc.
