The first point is that they have successfully used the power of online media to bring the Chen Sideng incident to widespread attention, so that even if the fraudsters in Myanmar want to attack Chen Sideng, they will have to hesitate for a while. As mentioned earlier, although the police wanted to help Ms. Lin find Chen Sideng, the water in Myanmar was so deep that the police department could not reach into Myanmar at all.
But the Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce is different. In the video posted by Ms. Lin, Ms. Lin introduced herself as a native of Chaoshan, Guangdong. And Guangdong is a well-known place in the country that attaches great importance to fellow villagers.
