The film boldly used amateur actors for filming, and the main creative team visited nearly 200 schools in Yunnan, selected from more than 10,000 students, and conducted a two-month intensive training for the children. In addition, the crew also went deep into the landscape of villages with local characteristics of Yunnan to shoot the scenery, and filmed a total distance of nearly 4,500 kilometers.
