The International Conference on Women also noted the noble qualities of Deng Yingchao's tenacious struggle. She was awarded the position of director of the International Democratic Women's Federation, and Deng Yingchao was the first Chinese woman to receive the position.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Deng Yingchao also participated in the formulation of the "Marriage Law of the People's Republic of China".
