According to the report, JAC has built two pure electric platforms (DE and X6) based on the needs of the industry.
First, focus on building a new new energy exclusive platform (DE platform) to meet the needs of the domestic economic and improved market, covering sedans, SUVs and MPV models;
Second, we will strengthen strategic cooperation and develop a new luxury new energy platform (X6 platform) with the help of Huawei's intelligent technology, and actively seize the high-end domestic market.
The current planned production capacity of 200,000 units will include pure electric and extended-range passenger cars, and the products are mainly for medium and large pure electric DE and X6 platform products, including C-class sedans, B-class sedans, A+ SUVs, B-class SUVs and MPV models.
The report also pointed out that according to the production and sales forecast, JAC passenger car sales will exceed 500,000 units in the next five years. The new DE and X6 platform products are expected to produce and sell more than 200,000 units.
