KTM TODAY OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW 890 DUKE R IN CHINA, A POWERFUL MID-LEVEL SIDE-BY-SIDE TWIN-CYLINDER STREET BIKE, WITH THE ICONIC "R" LETTERING REPRESENTING THE ULTIMATE IN RACING SPIRIT AND SUPERIOR HANDLING, WHICH CAN EASILY HANDLE THE ROAD OR THE TRACK, WHICH IS A REAL SUPER BLADE.

Racing, combat-oriented riding triangles with higher, rear-back pedals provide a sportier riding position and can be reversed without any additional parts. The lower, forward-facing handlebar improves the feedback of the front tire and provides a more agile riding stance. Four fine-tuning positions allow the rider to freely adjust the range of control that suits them.

Powered by fully adjustable WP APEX front and rear suspension, 43mm WP APEX fork with split damping, compression and rebound settings. Fully adjustable WP APEX Monoshock rear shock absorber, compression (high and low speed) rebound, adjustable hydraulic preload.

Developed for high-performance track and street riding, it features high-performance brakes that ensure fast, precise braking feedback when decelerating. The front brakes are 320mm with dual radial Brembo stylema four-piston calipers and the rear brakes are 240mm with single discs and Brembo single-piston floating calipers.

It is equipped with an 889cc parallel twin engine with an actual displacement, increased bore and stroke, and a higher compression ratio for excellent acceleration in the middle and rear. It has a maximum power of 89 kW (121 hp) @ 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 99 Nm @7750rpm, with a compression ratio of 13.5:1.

Powder-coated chrome-molybdenum steel frame with the engine as a stressed member for unmatched handling. Extremely responsive through twisty mountain roads and tracks, the cast aluminium subframe is covered with an air filter. Double connector casting technology is used to reduce complexity and weight.

ELECTRONICALLY ALSO VERY RICH, SUPERMOTO ABS ALLOWS PASSIONATE AND EXPERIENCED RIDERS TO LOCK THE REAR WHEELS ON THE FRONT WHEELS, DISABLE THE REAR WHEEL ABS, AND MAINTAIN THE ABS FUNCTION ON THE TOP WHEEL. TRACK mode (optional) allows for a degree of customization, with the rider having the freedom to choose between throttle control, nine levels of traction control slip, and whether or not to turn on the anti-tilt function. Slip Management System (MSR) (optional)When the engine speed drops suddenly, the MSR feeds back to the engine control unit ECU to automatically replenish the oil to ensure that the wheels do not lock up. The MSR ensures that you maintain full traction, which is complemented by a slipper clutch to ensure vehicle stability in low-grip situations.
