On April 16, 2024, a group of 18 people from the Haihong Classroom in Shexian County, Handan, Hebei Province, together with 2 social volunteers, came to Beigang Village, Shecheng Town to carry out voluntary haircut activities, and by the way, they did a good job in on-site hygiene. As soon as they arrived at their destination, they set up tables, chairs and benches, and contacted an electrician to prepare the charging sockets. Subsequently, the loudspeaker announced that there were villagers in need of haircuts to line up at the practice station, and everyone could inform each other. Beigang Village has a large population and a relatively large village, so when the villagers heard the notice, they rushed to the village in twos and threes, and the volunteers were responsible for registering them with serial numbers and waiting.
Most of the people who come to get a haircut are elderly and disadvantaged, and the volunteers take everyone seriously, asking for personal advice on what style of haircut to get and try to meet their needs. They chatted about their parents while getting a haircut, and the atmosphere was very warm. One of the people said movingly: "Volunteers don't charge a penny, use their own time, their own tools, free services, voluntary haircuts, now the economy and society, they serve everyone in this way, it's amazing!" The villagers spoke freely, talking, laughing, chatting like a family, with happy smiles on their faces. For the elderly with limited mobility, volunteers sit and get up with the help of volunteers. There are also people who feel that they are really blessed to live in today's society, and they want to thank the government and the Communist Party, and they are glad that they have caught up with the good times. The activity lasted until noon, and three or four people came in a hurry, and the volunteers patiently beckoned them to sit down and get a haircut, so that they could come happily and return satisfied. After more than three hours of hard work, the volunteers served a total of 38 people and won unanimous praise from the masses.
Under the guidance of party building, volunteers send the warmth of the society to the masses in a timely manner, take the small things of people's livelihood to heart, narrow the relationship between the party and the masses, and contribute their modest efforts to building a harmonious society.
