In Pudong 2035, one axis (east-west urban development axis) + three corridors (riverside cultural and commercial corridor, north-south science and technology innovation corridor and coastal comprehensive development corridor) are planned, plus the current high-profile golden central belt, forming these five important development corridors.

The red part of the picture is the central axis of Pudong, starting from Lujiazui Financial Center in the west, passing through the sub-centers of Huamu and Chuansha, connecting Pudong Airport, and reaching Nanhui New Town, one of the five major new cities, in the east.

The other three green corridors are longitudinal extensions in a north-south direction.

The westernmost corridor along the shoreline of the Huangpu River is the Riverside Cultural and Business Corridor. The Huangpu River can be said to have witnessed the historical changes and cultural development of Pudong, the international financial center of Lujiazui is the starting place of Pudong's development, the Expo Riverside brings together the Expo Park, the Expo Cultural Center and a series of modern cultural facilities, recently, there are two mountains, one 48 meters, one 37 meters, and the Lujiazui 2.0 version of the foreshore, the positioning of CAZ has attracted many well-known enterprises and institutions to settle in.

In the middle, this longitudinal development belt through the central part of Pudong, its central point is Zhangjiang, and the south is connected to the Lingang Free Trade Zone, so it is no wonder that it is named the "North-South Science and Technology Innovation Corridor". In 2018, Pudong New Area issued the Action Plan for Further Promoting the "Dual-District Linkage" of Zhangjiang and Lingang and Building the "North-South Science and Technology Innovation Corridor" in Pudong, focusing on building innovative characteristic industrial clusters such as biomedicine, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, intelligent networked vehicles, software information, and civil aviation.

The easternmost coastal strategic coordination corridor, as the name suggests, is a corridor extending the coastline of Shanghai, from the Waigaoqiao port area in the north to the eastern hub in the middle, and then to the southernmost Nanhui New Town.

It can be seen from the plates passed by the five corridors that the areas of Qiantan, Zhangjiang, Oriental Hub, and Lingang have a high degree of overlap.
