According to reports, the implementation of Shanghai's subsidy policy to promote the consumption of green smart home appliances in 2024 will be from March 30 to December 31, 2024, and subsidies will be provided for 16 categories of first-class energy-efficient household appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs, etc. Consumers can enjoy a one-time subsidy of 10% of the transaction price, and the subsidy amount shall not exceed 1,000 yuan.
It is worth noting that compared with the first round of green smart home appliance consumption subsidy policy implemented in 2022, the categories have been upgraded from the original 8 categories such as air conditioners (including central air conditioners) to 16 categories, and microcomputers (including desktop and portable computers), printers, air purifiers, rice cookers, microwave ovens (including all-in-one machines), induction cookers, electric fans and water purifiers have entered the Shanghai green smart home appliance consumption subsidy list for the first time.

"During the event, consumers can enjoy 'quadruple subsidies' when shopping in offline stores, including 10% government subsidies, 10% replacement subsidies, 10% factory subsidies, and 10% discount for full purchases. Among them, the replacement subsidy of 10% refers to the subsidy of 10% on the basis of the transaction price, with a maximum subsidy of 1,000 yuan for a single product and a maximum subsidy of 5,000 yuan for a single user.
