In the first quarter, there were 802 inbound and outbound China-Europe trains at Erenhot Railway Port, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%, a record high for the same period in history, including 426 outbound trains, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%, and 376 inbound trains, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%.
In order to fully smooth the logistics channel, the grassland railway actively serves the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, and continues to give priority to ensuring the access of China-Europe trains, optimizing the organization of China-Europe train pick-up and delivery, giving priority to ensuring the reloading of China-Europe trains, and giving priority to organizing the return of empty trains after unloading, so as to maximize the efficiency of customs clearance of China-Europe trains, and the quality of China-Europe trains and the number of receiving trains have once again reached a new level.
Focusing on the goal of increasing freight transportation and revenue, Erlian Station continues to optimize the transportation organization plan, coordinate the allocation of cargo sources and transportation capacity, scientifically plan the reloading of imported goods, and reasonably arrange the operation plan of outbound trains, so as to realize the fast entry and exit of import and export goods.
Improve the level of integrated organization of the station area, reasonably arrange on-site operations, coordinate the units in the station area to organize parallel operations, reduce the waiting time of on-site operations, and further improve the efficiency of transportation organization.
Strengthen the coordination and linkage with customs, border inspection and other units and Mongolian railway departments, negotiate and solve problems such as cargo customs clearance and train inspection, and help China-Europe trains run out of "acceleration".
Up to now, the Erenhot Railway Port has provided a cumulative service guarantee for the operation of more than 15,000 China-Europe trains, and the number of passes in 2023 will exceed 3,000 for the first time, a record high, showing a continuous growth trend, helping "Made in China" to go abroad on the China-Europe train.
