The scissors are flicked, the comb is brushed, and the silver wire is cut, which conveys warmth. On April 16, 2024, 11 volunteers from Shanxi Jin Intermediary came to the Southwest Community Park to carry out voluntary haircuts and garbage pick-up activities.
Volunteer service activities, caring for the elderly with practical actions, and conveying the warmth of society. At the event site, there was an endless stream of elderly people waiting for a haircut. The volunteers carefully inquired about the needs of each elderly person, and with exquisite skills, they tailored the appropriate hairstyle for the elderly. During the haircut process, the volunteers also cordially talked with the elderly, and the atmosphere was warm and harmonious. After the haircut, the old people looked at themselves in the mirror, touched the new hairstyle with satisfaction, and praised the volunteers again and again.
In addition to haircuts, volunteers are also actively involved in cleaning, picking up trash, and keeping the community environment tidy.
Through this activity, the volunteers' actions not only brought convenience to the residents' lives, but also created a community atmosphere of "one for all, all for one", and contributed to the creation of a national civilized urban area.
