Students' impressions

Xie Yijian

Today, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit the "Thousands of Rivers, Thousands of Mountains, Just Waiting for Leisure" red-themed art exhibition of the Guangzhou Museum of Art with my teachers and partners. I have seen a lot of thematic works related to the history of the Long March, which tell the glorious history of the Party and the people's army.

Through the introduction of the narrator, I have gained a deeper understanding of the process of the Red Army's revolutionary struggle from Jinggangshan to the Long March, and I have more admiration for the heroic and tenacious fighting spirit of the revolutionary ancestors! What impressed me the most was the work "The Lamp That Will Not Be Extinguished", and there are so many details behind the illustrations in this textbook, which vividly express Chairman Mao's profound thinking about the future of the revolution in those years!

Today's visit has benefited me a lot, and I will continue to work hard, overcome difficulties, and continue to improve!

Huang Yuhan

Special thanks to the teachers of the Fine Arts Department of the Yuexiu District Children's Palace for leading the students of our art class to visit the Guangzhou Art Museum, allowing us to walk out of the classroom and into the art palace to observe the authentic works of many art masters up close.

In the exhibition "Thousands of Rivers, Thousands of Mountains Just Waiting for Leisure", I saw many works that contained the spirit of the Long March and the spirit of Jinggangshan, and I seemed to instantly return to that war-torn era.

The painting that impressed me the most was "Hero's Path", in which the steep and curved Jinggang Mountain reaches into the sky, and the tall and powerful pine trees are stacked on top of each other and are magnificent, showing the fighting spirit and heroic spirit of the Red Army soldiers who are not afraid of hardships and dangers.

Guan Jingheng

Thanks to the teachers of the Fine Arts Department of the Children's Palace of Yuexiu District for organizing this trip to the Guangzhou Art Museum, walking from the classroom to the museum, seeing the master's paintings, and also thanking the docent for the exquisite explanation of each painting.

In the exhibition "Thousands of Rivers, Thousands of Mountains Just Waiting for Leisure", we have a deep understanding of the history of the Long March. The painting that impressed me the most was "Reflecting the Red Danan Mountain", the red on the paper turned out to be the sunset when we met on the Danan Mountain, so the background color of the painting is red, which is particularly attractive.

The Dananshan Revolutionary Base Area has left glorious footprints, which make me love our motherland even more with admiration for the revolutionary martyrs, and strive to walk the road of the Long March of our young people today!
