IT Home reported on April 16 that tonight, AMD officially released a number of Ryzen PRO series commercial processor products based on the new Zen 4 architecture + RDNA 3 architecture + XDNA architecture. These include the Ryzen PRO 8040 series for laptops and the Ryzen PRO 8000 series for desktops, for a total of 16 processors.
These processors are powered by Ryzen AI technology, including AMD Zen 4 CPU architecture, RDNA 3 GPU, and XDNA NPU. In terms of process, it also uses 4nm process, equipped with AMD PRO technology, supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and has greatly improved performance, power consumption and AI.
The AMD Ryzen™ PRO 8040 series for the notebook product line is still divided into two series: HS and U, of which the HS series products are mainly for content creation platforms and mobile workstations, and the U series products are mainly for the high-end thin and light notebook market. According to AMD's official introduction, OEM partners, including Lenovo and HP, will also launch a number of notebooks and business desktops based on Ryzen PRO 8040/8000 series processors.
