The period of liberation was the most important battle waged by the people's army against the reactionary military clique during the years of the revolutionary war.
In this battle, the heroic people's army, under the leadership of Chairman Mao and Commander-in-Chief Zhu, launched a series of large-scale battles against the enemy. Among them, the most influential ones are definitely the three major battles that everyone is more familiar with. In these three major battles, the heroic people's army, under the command of Lin Zong, Su Yu, Liu Shuai, Chen Laozong, Nie Shuai and others, wiped out a large number of enemy elite troops and inflicted heavy military losses on the Chiang dynasty.
At the same time, the victory of the three major battles was laid, and the people's army was about to win the victory, destroy the reactionary enemy, and thus liberate the whole country.
The founding of New China was not easy to come by, and it was forged by countless revolutionary martyrs with their blood and lives. According to historical records, in the most important war of liberation, there were seven high-ranking generals who died on the battlefield for the founding of New China.
The first Xie Xiangjun served as the commander of the 10th Column of the Central China Field Army. This is one of the fierce generals that General Su Yu relied on on in the Soviet-Chinese battlefield in the early days of the Liberation War. Because of his courage in battles and rich experience in actual combat, Xie Xiangjun has been entrusted with important tasks many times.
However, in the Battle of Lianshui, Xie Xiangjun, as the commander, in order to boost the morale of the soldiers, personally came to the scene to command the soldiers to fight bravely. I never thought that I would encounter the enemy's black gun and die bravely.
The second Wu Daming served as the commander of the 10th Brigade of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Field Army. This is the right-hand man under General Yang Yong. At that time, Wu Daming's immediate boss was General Yang Yong, both of whom were the main cadres of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Field Army in the early days of the Liberation War, and successively participated in the battles of Longhai, Dingtao, and Juye, and thwarted the enemy's arrogance militarily. But it is a pity that in the Battle of Juye, Wu Daming, the commander of the 10th Brigade, was hit by the enemy's howitzer and died heroically.
The third Qin Xian'an, a native of Guangshan, Henan, joined the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in 1928 and belonged to an old party member. There have been countless tough battles in his military career, but every time Qin Xianan was able to survive safely. In this way, it has also accumulated a wealth of practical experience for him.
During the Liberation War, Qin Xianan served as the deputy brigade commander of the Fourth Brigade of the Second Column of the Shandong Field Army. In 1947, the two major field armies of the East China Battlefield were merged into the East China Field Army, and Qin Xian'an was reappointed as the political commissar of the 5th Division of the 2nd Column of the Huaye Army. It can be seen that Qin Xianan is also a general who is shoulder-to-shoulder in the military and government.
In 1947, in the Battle of Nanma on the Shandong battlefield, the East China Field Army surrounded the 11th Division of the National Army's ace reorganization in Nanma, but heavy rain fell from the sky, and finally the enemy successfully broke through. And in this battle, Qin Xian'an died heroically.
The fourth Zhang Yuanshou, a native of Yongding County, Fujian, embarked on the revolutionary road because of the influence of the commander-in-chief of the Red Army, Mr. Zhu. During the arduous years of the revolutionary war, Zhang Yuanshou was mainly responsible for the logistical support work in the people's army. Of course, he is also the deputy chief of staff of the East China Field Army, but he is mainly responsible for logistics support.
Huaye Commander Chen Lao praised: Zhang Yuanshou is a logistics expert. Deputy Commander Su Yu said: With Zhang Yuanshou's assistance, there will be no worries about fighting a war. Being able to be praised by the two leaders in a row is enough to show that Zhang Yuanshou's work ability is very outstanding.
Then, one day in March 1947, Zhang Yuanshou was strafed by reactionary planes in the process of collecting grain and grass for the army, and died a heroic death.
The fifth Ma Renxing, a native of Pingxiang County, Hebei Province, joined Feng Yuxiang's Northwest Army in his early years, experienced the Northern Expedition War, the Central Plains War, and in 1938, due to the influence of our party comrades, he secretly joined the party.
In April 1940, Ma Renyi led his troops to revolt and was received by Commander-in-Chief Zhu, and then served as the commander of the Second Cavalry Regiment of the Eighth Route Army.
During the Liberation War, Ma Renyi advanced to the northeast with Lu Zhengcao and was reappointed as the commander of the First Security Brigade. As we all know, in the northeastern battlefield in the early days of liberation, our army did not make breakthroughs, but was very passive. Among them, the Siping Battle caused considerable casualties. At that time, Ma Renyi participated in the Siping Battle, and led the first independent division to fight bloodily with the enemy, and unfortunately died heroically at the age of 43.
The sixth Yin Shaoli, a native of Xinxian County, Henan, left his hometown and joined the revolution under the influence of the Jute Uprising. This general, like Qin Xian'an, belonged to the Second Column of the East China Field Army during the Liberation War, Qin Xian'an was the political commissar of the Fifth Division, and Yin Shaoli was the commander of the Fourth Division.
In the Battle of Yilin in 1948, the Northern Jiangsu Corps, under the command of Commander Wei Guoqing, launched an attack on the national army defending the town of Yilin. Although the Northern Jiangsu Corps won the victory in this battle, its own casualties were not small, plus the sacrifice of Yin Shaoli, the commander of the 4th Division.
Therefore, Teng Haiqing, the commander of the second column, was sullen after the battle, not happy at all, and won a battle, but sacrificed a division commander.
The seventh Zhu Rui, he is from Suqian, Jiangsu. Presumably, everyone knows General Zhu Rui well! He is the artillery commander of the people's army. On the Northeast Battlefield during the liberation period, he served as the artillery commander of the Northeast Military Region, established an artillery school, and trained a number of outstanding artillery soldiers for our party.
However, in the Liaoshen Campaign in 1948, in order to strike the enemy more accurately, Zhu Rui, as an artillery commander, went to the first front line to personally command the artillery unit and bomb the enemy. In the process, he unfortunately struck a thunderbolt and died heroically at the age of 43.
