Today (April 15), Changning District held the 2024 annual deployment meeting for veterans and double support. The meeting required that to promote the high-quality development of veterans and double-support work, we must focus on key and difficult points, start from the problems that restrict the effective development of work, and start from the things that the majority of veterans are anxious about, find the right focus of work, improve work standards, innovate work methods, and improve work content. Pay more attention to the bottom-line responsibility of maintaining stability, and strive to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of retired servicemen.
The meeting emphasized that to promote the high-quality development of retired servicemen and double-support work, it is necessary to lay a solid foundation and make up for shortcomings, focusing on the creation of national double-support model city standards, benchmarking and table, checking and filling gaps; we must continue to serve the army to prepare for war, pay close attention to the needs of army construction and military struggle, and form a vivid situation in which the troops practice to fight and fight wars, and the local training and support front; we must continue to promote the strong atmosphere of double support, and we must continue to deepen the "six ones" characteristic brand and seek development, so as to truly form "rong Changning" The brand effect gives the work of double support the rich connotation of "glory, integration, and affection", and actively creates a new brand with new highlights and new characteristics of double support.
