"Look at Xianyang" News: On April 15, the launching ceremony of the 15th Big Buddha Tourism Festival in Binzhou City was held in the Binzhou Big Buddha Temple Scenic Area.
At the opening ceremony, Tang dance, ancient music performance, song and dance drama and other programs were staged one after another, winning the audience's applause. It is understood that the theme of this year's Big Buddha Tourism Festival is "Pearl of the Silk Road, Mountains and Rivers", starting from April 15th to ending on the 17th, a total of three days. During the event, a series of activities will be launched, such as local food, children's amusement, opera performances, princess spring tours, and cultural performances.
At the "Princess Spring Tour" event on the same day, the actors dressed in Tang costumes performed all the way from the entrance of the Big Buddha to the scenic spot, bringing citizens and tourists an immersive tour experience. It is understood that the performance to Tang Xuanzong's daughter Princess Xinping as the protagonist, through the driving, clean hands, garden, piano, painting, tea, chanting, inscription, dance and other classical scenes, reproduce the princess Xinping with the horse and relatives in the big Buddha Temple scenic area when the grand occasion of the spring play.
Yang Zhenmin, a tourist, said: "I walked all the way to the scenic spot, and saw a lot of performers in Tang costumes, which felt very atmospheric, and the realistic performance complemented the long and splendid history of the Big Buddha Temple, which brought everyone back to the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty."
