The 2024 Huangpu Marathon, with the theme of "Running for Love", is the first marathon in Asia to integrate "roller skating" and "road running".
The 2024 Huangpu Marathon kicked off at 7 a.m. on April 14 at the Bund Taurus Square. The finish point of the full marathon and half marathon is located at No. 68 Longhua East Road, and the end point of the roller skating quarter and road run is at the World Expo Museum.
In order to ensure fire safety during the Huangpu Marathon, Huangpu Fire divided the entire stage into a starting area, a finish area and five stage responsibility areas, further refined the duty plan, and guarded the safety of the runners throughout the process.
At 7 o'clock in the morning, the "Huangpu Marathon" started passionately! Roller skaters took the lead from Jinniu Square, followed by road runners. Along the way, Huangpu fire commanders and fighters have already been in place, and more than 100 fire commanders and fighters and 9 fire trucks are divided into blocks to carry out close-fitting garrison duty along important road sections.
The vehicles and commanders on duty are mainly responsible for responding to all kinds of emergencies along the race route and in the surrounding areas, and undertake the important task of being the first to deal with the scene and "fighting early and extinguishing the small", so as to ensure that they can respond quickly and arrive at the scene quickly when dealing with the police situation.
In this Huangpu Marathon, a number of commanders and fighters of Huangpu Fire participated in the road running project, showing their sweat and youth in the competition, fully demonstrating the style of "Flame Blue".
