On April 14th, the "Wearing Beijing Jersey and Straight to Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao" I want to go to the National Games Roller Skating Tournament was held at the roller skating venue of Tsinghua University North Gymnasium. Nearly 200 people participated in the selection of the adult group, youth group and youth group. The competition tested the athletic ability of players of all ages in the city's roller skating events, and a number of outstanding adult and junior players emerged.
The selection competition was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau and the Beijing Municipal Sports Federation, and undertaken by the Secretariat of the Beijing Municipal Sports Federation and the Beijing Ice Roller Skating Association. The purpose of the event is to find out the technical level of the city's roller skating talents, provide a scientific basis for the selection of qualified athletes, set up a training team, and prepare for and train in accordance with the event cycle of the National Games. Through the competition, the organizing committee selected a group of outstanding athletes to form a preparation echelon, which provided a basis and guarantee for Beijing to participate in the team preparation for the roller skating event of the 15th National Games in 2025.
In order to complete the preparation tasks of the National Games and create an international standard selection platform, the event was organized and arranged in accordance with the national team assessment standards. The organizers invited players, coaches, and referees who participated in the 2023 National Championships and the 2024 World Championships to participate in the adjudication and competition organization. The equipment of the event is set up in accordance with the standards of the national championship, which reflects the high level and high specifications, ensures the fairness and justice of the event, and creates an international standard event platform for athletes.
After this competition, the Municipal Ice Skating Association will put into intense preparation work and continue to work hard for the Beijing delegation of the 15th National Games to achieve excellent results in roller skating.
