The fast pace of life, the complexity of information, and the busy work, life and family trivialities of the past 10 years have long consumed my yearning for poetry and distance as a post-80s generation. I haven't completely flipped through a collection of essays for a long time, so that the books on the shelves are a little yellowed and dusty, and life has finally returned to the blandness of firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea. The book is divided into four chapters: Poetry in the Heart, Life Insights, Emotional Reverie and Cultural Journey. After reading the first two essays of "On the Water Side" with great interest, I felt as if I heard my own heart: reading, appreciating, and reminiscing. Therefore, in this spring, I read "On the Water Side" twice, chasing Professor Lei Xuegang's words, and found a trace of the quiet sunshine and perseverance of writing.

This is the spirit of a literati. The feelings of family and country are a lofty sense of collective responsibility, and it is also a heavy sense of mission of the times.
