The Pakhonchai District Police Department, together with the Buriram Police Investigation Team, the Buriram Immigration Inspection Office, the Army Propaganda Department, and a Chinese interpreter, questioned Su. According to him, he was originally from Hubei, China, and a Chinese compatriot who knew him said that he would take him to Vietnam to work as a waiter, but he was eventually sent to Laos.
After that, he was forced to separate from his other 10 companions, and was taken to Thailand by a car with one other Chinese and two Thais, without knowing where the destination was. On the way, he saw a sign that read "Police" and decided to jump out of the car to get help from the police, but the rest of the crew did not dare to go with him.
According to the latest news, Su has contacted another compatriot who is traveling with him, because the compatriot has fled to the Wang Chao Police Station in Xingfu for help. At the same time, Su's parents have also learned about the relevant situation through the Thai Consulate in China and are ready to go to pick up Su to return to China.
However, it is not yet known that the illegal gang involved is mainly engaged in illegal smuggling of labor, or defrauding others to engage in illegal work, or whether it belongs to a wire fraud gang.
