Although his daughter Pu Fang and son-in-law Han Jinkai repeatedly advised them to hire a nurse to share the burden of caring for their mother, Pu Cunxin categorically rejected their kindness. Under the care of his son's diligent cultivation, Jia Quan's health finally took a turn for the better, and his memory also recovered.
In October 2021, when he took Jia Quan to the hospital for a follow-up visit, the doctor was amazed after witnessing this miracle of life, and praised Pu Cunxin as a well-deserved "son of great filial piety".
