In order to further promote the special rectification action of fire safety of outdoor advertising and signboard facilities, recently, the third squadron of the Xiaonan District Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade, together with fire protection, Xinhua Street and other departments, removed the outdoor illegal billboards of two hotels on Wanfu Road in accordance with the law.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers found that two large hotel billboards on Wanfu Road were set up without permission, and the billboards set up at the same time closed and blocked the windows, posing serious fire safety hazards. Law enforcement officers promptly came to the door to publicize and persuade the owners and issued a "Notice of Correction" in accordance with the law, and finally obtained the consent of the owners to cooperate, and removed the illegal billboards according to the process.
On the day of the demolition operation, 20 staff members were dispatched, 1 aerial work vehicle and 1 transport vehicle, and 2 advertising facilities for potential safety hazards were dismantled, totaling about 300 square meters.
"Illegal advertising signs block all windows, and in case of accidents, it becomes a 'life-threatening card' that affects safe escape and fire fighting. We will continue to increase the intensity of inspection and control, adhering to the principle of safety first and life first, do a good job in the first pass of approval, and effectively do the management of advertising and signboards in the front to ensure that the safety management of outdoor advertising and signboard facilities is scientific and standardized.
